Approves of CEO

I have been working at OppenheimerFunds full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Vacations and benefit package. Started with 5 weeks vacation and the 401K has a lot of good options to choose from

Cons

Understanding the personal goals and how they align with the Company's main goals and initiatives. Sometimes one departments goals contradict another department

Advice to Management

Make the goals align better and continue to provide work/life balance for the employees

    Pros

There are lots of truly nice people that work there, but this is overshadowed by the barracudas who pretend to be nice but are not.

    Cons

passive aggressive culture. Mediocre standards. Lots of backstabbing behind the scenes masked by smiles. One never knows how one stands.

    Advice to Management

stop doing things the same way as always and claiming that you are doing things differently. You are constantly reinventing the wheel which is a colossal waste of time. Focus should be more on end result and less on process.

I worked at OppenheimerFunds full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good People to work with. Some good managers that will help you along on your career path Great work location, and benefits.

    Cons

Limited career path, starting pay is not great. To really start making some money you need to eventually move to NY Pretty young folks working there, which creates a lot of turnover.
