    I worked at Oracle

    Pros

You get to meet many smart people and you are involved in team meetings etc. like full-time employees Management is very flexible and helpful. Also, the gym at HQ is really nice and the location in the middle of the peninsula, between San Francisco and "downtown silicon valley" is very pleasant.

    Cons

Administrative overhead for some of the processes can be heavyweight and/or had to be ironed out after the Sun acquisition but that is probably impossible to fully eliminate in big corporations.
