“Not terrible and not great but a good way to earn a living”
Current Employee – been working at Oracle full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – -lots of opportunities, but nearly impossible to find them in the recruiting application
-don't have to worry about being acquired :)
-great benefits
-telecommute option
-co-workers generally easy to get along
-can easily skate by without working too hard (that might be a 'con' too!)
Cons – -lots of turf battles and jockeying for territory that distract from delivering the best solutions
-bonuses vary widely and often aren't good despite good performance
-way too much overhead and nonsensical processes
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
