Pros

Challenging projects. Smart engineers. Relaxed atmosphere. Flexible working hours. Great benefits. Good company to have on your resume. Good job security.

Cons

Many questionable decisions made by middle / upper managers. A lot of politics in middle / upper management. The shift in company strategy to grow through acquisitions reduced the motivation to innovate.

Advice to Senior Management

More transparency for decision making. The engineers are usually not satisfied with questionable management decisions, they needs to understand why a certain way was chosen, especially when the technical arguments are pointing in a different direction.
