Pros

Commission - unlimited with accelerators but tough to hit
Extensive sales and IT training
People - a lot of my coworkers have turned into friends outside of work

Cons

Stressful environment - typical in sales, I have been in worse
Micromanaged

    Pros

    Oracle provides a great work environment with lots of flexibility, excellent compensation with mostly interesting work. Comparing Oracle to other companies that I have worked for, Oracle comes easily out on top.

    Career advancement can be difficult to navigate as it is at most companies.

    Pros

    Oracle is a machine
    Culture is aggressive, driven, results-oriented
    I was personally treated very well throughout my time there
    Lots of opportunity to succeed and advance; great rewards when you do

    Cons

    Can be political, bureaucratic like all big companies
    Sales pressure can lead to questionable tactics and bullying - it's all about the numbers
    Complexity of the organization with so many acquisitions makes it difficult to navigate and lead
