Pros

Lots of great support from management. Tons of classes and online training available. Strong management with fairly well defined processes. Plenty of opportunities to pursue other job opportunities within Oracle. Ability to work from home or in office as desired.

Cons

No profit sharing or bonuses. Even with company provided discounts, health insurance is still fairly expensive. Was told there was a wage freeze during the entire time I was there - even after getting above average reviews.

Advice to Management

Ensure your employees are compensated for good performance.

    Pros

    Flexible work environement, free coffee, free fitness centers if you have time to use them. Free smelly air from Indians that don't wash.

    Cons

    While senior staff line their pockets, employees that are expexted to work 12+ hours a day are rewarded with either no pay increases or if you are lucky 2%.. Management pockets millions in bonuses, while Directors and below are left begging. Staff is hired and/or promoted based on friendships, not qualifications. Thousands of jobs have been moved to other countries, and H1B staff moved in to replace US workers. Company discriminates against White Americans unless they need them to sell product, then they revolve in and out faster they the weather. If you file an ethics complaint, it is casually swept under the carpet.

    Advice to Management

    Stop offshoring and start taking care of the US employees that helped build the company. Get new HR staff, they are useless.

    Roof over your head floors

    Cons

    No raise not even cost of living in expensive Boston area for 5 plus years in the meantime Larry buys a private island!
