I have been working at Oracle full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Stable company, with well established processes. Has some very smart people. Benefits are decent, with great work life balance.

Cons

Hard to make an impact, being such a large company. Pay feels sub-par, especially if people stay a long time

    Pros

    Good environment, office space, equipment, technology, benefits

    Cons

    Salaries for those working at Oracle for 5+ years tend to be low compared to new folks coming in. Low increases, if any, year to year, and low bonuses compared to many of the competitors. Also, no performance reviews are mandated upon many teams, thus no set of objectives, goals, or accomplishments are acknowledged by management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Need to build morale and motivation within the teams, set objectives, do performance reviews, and reward teams - via team building, compensation, promotion.
