    I have been working at Oracle full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Great people working in sales but many are leaving.

    Cons

    Salary not competitive in my area,
    Oracle deciding at their discretion to NOT pay commissions on large transaction to sales people
    To much time spent forecasting. Twice a week. Once on a spread sheet then on the CRM system.
    Not enough time to sell.
    Order system over engineered.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Internal CRM systems that tracks accounts is hosed. You can't even get a clear view of who is on the account team. Internal account mapping by sales people is in dire need of repair. Employee satisfaction is at an all time low from what I am hearing and feeling. Way to much time spent trying to figure out which accounts I own and getting them mapped to the correct sales person. It been going on over a year now and the process is still broke. Unacceptable!

    I have been working at Oracle full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Great work-life balance and flexibility. Perfect place for working mothers.
    Stable company - little to no management churn.
    Good health benefits.

    Cons

    Some people have not had any raise in years, almost no bonus despite good performance of the company. Upper management does not care about attrition. The company is slow moving and any small decision takes months and dozens of approvals.

    Care more about your employees. Be more in touch.
