Pros

- Very friendly environment. - Many courses given to the employees. - Gain the multinational culture.

Cons

- Salary is not very convenient among the other companies in the same rule. - The management is considering only the revenue and they do not want to spend any additional money to satisfy it's employees.

Advice to Management

Try to motivate people and satisfy them by offering them more facilities like a large rest room, a Gym in the company or even a free coffee and food not only tee packets.

    Pros

projects have high visibility & impact work with very intelligent colleagues employees are well catered to The pride that can come from working with a company like Orange Business Services is self-perpetuating; if you pay attention, you can learn a lot about life in a global organization

    Cons

elitism and arrogance are commonplace low promotion rate = highly competitive as company grows individual work becomes less impactfull. Often times, decisions are made that aren't fully explained, which can lead to a sense that senior management is too distant from (and sometimes apathetic to) the work that has to be done "in the trenches" in order to execute their Grand Strategies. ...but that's not uncommon in large companies.

    Advice to Management

Orange BS has been laser-focused on cost-cutting over the past several years; great for short-term shareholder value, but it has been (and continues to be) truly devastating to measures of employee loyalty, innovation, morale and "esprit-de-corps." Orange BS could benefit greatly by demonstrating that it still values employees. Thanks to agressive recruiting by competitors, Orange is hemorrhaging experience and expertise; literally hundreds of years of experience and expertise (collectively) is being lost every week, as formerly loyal Orange employees who no longer feel valued by the company, as a result of increased work-loads, budget cutbacks and pay-cuts

    Pros

Great benefit package & time off Some peers are extremely knowledgable and competant Great work/life balance

    Cons

Too many cons to name Management should take listen more to the "peons" and start implementing their recommendations. Management should "beta test" or do a "focus group" prior to implenting major changes that affect the "peons"

    Advice to Management

Fire them & bring in qualified personel who understand the business and industry that they are in. It is extremely difficult to succeed when your managment team "doesn't get it".
