Pros

A mediocre salary for very little effort. A great place to be if you do not mind not earning much because you do not want to work hard either. You get flexi time, plenty of holiday time and lots of working at home time.. The management are very concerned about their and their employees 'work-life balance.' A good place to grow old in.

Cons

Process and Governance mad. Rules for everything. CEO and Chairman with inflateds view of their presence and position, Directors who are far too worried about working within Government and United Nations to actually run a business. Many employees have been there for 20+years and run rings around the management.

Advice to Management

change the CEO and chairman. Decide what your mission in life is

    Pros

Good working conditions. Friendly company. Feels very safe. Comaraderie is great. Whole families can work here hence can feel like a family atmosphere. Opportunities to move around

    Cons

Few opportunities from lower grades to get promotions. Can be favouritism and indeed nepotism
Lack of work or projects where you can keep a particular skill level up. Getting training but not getting the opportunities to use it

    Advice to Management

Senior management overlook / ignorant to staff loyalty and incentives could be a lot better to keep performing staff

    Pros

The leadership team has improved drastically over the past couple of years. This has made the organisation feel positively different. They are an extremely family friendly and supportive organisation. Training and development was great and supports career development.

    Cons

Opportunities are few and far between. Many employees have been working in the same position for many years which makes it very difficult to break into a similar role.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the strategy and continue to build a workforce to deliver that strategy. Implement better succession planning and focus on being more commercial and less civil service.
