    Typical government agency, change comes slow. Sometimes communication doesn't come down to the level it needs to.

    Pros

    Great benefits and coworkers. Causual dress and can even wear shorts in the summer months.

    Cons

    In a limited duration position, I felt used and abused. People who have worked there and have union lay off rights but do a bad, do not get fired. Instead, they hire people who are just learning adjudication and expect them to learn their position right after the minimal training. When you get reviewed on decisions, you get mixed feedback, which is not helpful.

    Learn to manage.
