I worked at Outspark.com full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Great location to work and free lunch & drinks. Flexible office hours and friendly co-workers.

Cons

Employees may perceive inequitable treatment of some co-workers that results in favoritism - lacking of career opportunity. In addition, a poor supervisor did not pay attention to the needs of employees, such as allowing a balance between work duties and personal life or change their plans and timeline that reduce productivity.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Success is from the bottom up, but culture is established from the top down. Successful companies create a culture that stimulates, recognizes and rewards employee effort.

I worked at Outspark.com full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

In general the team members across all functionalities were stellar and willing to work together. For the most part, everyone got along. I would say the team cultures within teams is very tight knit.

    Cons

Sometimes different departments were not on the same page and tempers could get kind of heated. It was a smaller company so these tensions needed to be confronted and couldn't be hid behind. Unfortunately company is no longer in business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There was too much constant change in management. Also, it seemed company was a bit management heavy.
