I have been working at Owens Corning full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Strong leadership teams across business, family centered and supports work life balance. You can be proud of the products that the company makes and the sustainability of the products and manufacturing process.

Cons

Can be a little too collaborative and processes get cumbersome. Be ready to challenge those status quo processes!

    I worked at Owens Corning

    Pros

Great portfolio of businesses; very supportive of young talent and look to grow and develop skills. Great for people out of college or at any point in their career.

    Cons

Some of the businesses can feel silo-ed which isn't the worst because you get to focus on your team and business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more money to young talent out of college to be competitive against other big companies. Underpaying and overworking young talent is not acceptable.

I have been working at Owens Corning

    Pros

Good co-workers, very minimal cut-throat environment in most areas. Offer good opportunities for movement until you get to a certain level.

    Cons

Up to a certain point, career advancement seems limited. Lots of external hires seems to be the preference. Not very good work/life balance. Finance seems to turn on and off the lights.
