I have been working at Oxford University Press full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Majority of employees nice. Secure profitable environment even in econmic troubling times.

Stuffy atiquated management that operates in a very command an control manner. A lot of rules and often an active culture of seeking to blame.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the senior managers to enliven and stimulate more modern supportive, developmental and engaging environent. Engender more action and involvement of staff, treat mistakes as a vehicel for learning not punishment. Improve the morale and invest to create a less stressful environment.
