I have been working at P.F. Chang's

Pros

Flexible hours
401K
Insurance
Opportunities to advance
Genuinely tries to not feel "corporate," and wants to treat employees like family.

Cons

Long hours, unequal pay based on gender (women are less likely to quit a job and more likely to pursue security while men seem to often be looking for the next best thing - PF Chang's - like so many companies - takes advantage of this fact.)

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Talking about the labor line is exhausting and the policy changes all the time. Adding steps of service and asking us to trim down labor costs without sacrificing service is untenable.

    I worked at P.F. Chang's

    Pros

If you can manage to work the weekend shifts the pay can be pretty good. The people who work there are pretty chill as well

    Cons

Not allowed many breaks, have to work through busy hours and you have to pay for any food you eat

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you're doing, its not a complicated job, keep things simple and reward the employees who work hard

    I worked at P.F. Chang's

    Pros

Always busy, money is pretty good especially around holidays. Generally good food which makes the job easier. Online scheduling makes it easy.

    Cons

Senior management is terrible. New products and policies are passed down slowly and generally incomplete. They will do everything to save $$ especially if it adds more work or worsens employee conditions. Open as late as normal on all holidays. Only closed Xmas and Thanksgiving

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show more respect to the employees. Close early on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, and Easter. Actually give credit to the employees that make you so much money.
