I have been working at PCM full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Outstanding training, and I would go so far as to say the best in the industry, PCM is transforming their business model, and most of these reviewers are push over sales reps. Sales requires tenacity and a hunter mentality. Yes, many of the old reps need to get booted out, as they don't promote the business, but PCM is very proactive right now in promoting their business strategy. Where this company excels is in the SMB market, as SHI and CDW target the huge megacorps... You get the opportunity to grow your business and be recognized if your an exceptional sales professional.

--Brand new building on the 8th floor, next to the river.
--Amazing training program, and knowledgeable IT professionals. "Product Champions."
--Outstanding Management team, who will go the extra mile to help you any time you need it.
1)Big companies don't care about coaching, they just care about numbers.
--Great team building events, and awesome Director and experienced Management Team.
--Expanding Business, and had the strongest first quarter ever.
--Boosting their infrastructure, soon will be hosting our own cloud for clients.
--Tons of opportunities to be VMWare certified, Cisco certified, and any other IT certifications you want,
--PCM will support you and take care of you if you are an exceptional sales member. Tired of these lackluster sales "drones" whining about PCM.
--Tons of team outings, and you get frequent Microsoft, Samsung, etc reps coming in and constant training...
    1) Plus, if you are exceptional, Microsoft reps, VMWare, Cisco, etc reps will take extra special care to do what needs to be done. They have Spiffs as well.

Cons

--It's sales. You have to build your book to make money, but it is a competitive salary, and structured around how well you perform.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

--Keep up the good work. All new management in the past year, and PCM is really boosting their business model. I thoroughly enjoy the location, and truly like working for PCM. They genuinely care about your success. That's the benefit of working for a smaller office!
