I have been working at PEAK Performance full-time

    Pros

Most of the employees (on a good day) are cheerful. Decent looking office.

    Cons

Executive Team stinks and has very little knowledge of what it takes to build revenue, keep clients and build employee morale. Management team is competent but extremely over worked and very under valued. This company has the worst HR department I have ever seen. Don't bother applying if you have interest in growing with a company, this place is going down hill and not moving....

    I worked at PEAK Performance

    Pros

Decent place to get your start in the automotive vendor world and gain experience iin the field. Hands off, low or non-existent management pressure to perform, almost no accountability with the opportunity to maintain a very light schedule. internal staff is friendly and helpful with easy interaction. You can work as much or as little as you choose - very close to a part time job. Peak produces beautiful, high quality print products - the best in the industry.

    Cons

Little or no opportunity for career and income growth - this is not the place for an experienced, goal oriented professional. Mid level, regional managers are inexperienced and not engaged with the field. Upper management is currently occupied with slashing expenses. Small or non existent I.T. and product development initiatives. Very poor auto expense allowance given the expected travel requirements. The best print products in the industry but also the most expensive.
Peak enjoyed it's day in the sun when automotive fixed ops retention deliverables consisted of letters and postcards. However, Peak refused to invest in technology and infrastructure resulting in a gradual decline of OEM relationships and new business. Peak has not added a new OEM since 2008.
If considering a position with Peak, be aware their largest client is VW / Audi with a finite contract. Given the current state of chaos and turnover at Peak, it is very unlikely this contract will be renewed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in your business, your future, and most importantly, your employees. If your employees are happy your customers are happy. If your customers are happy, tha company makes money.
