Pros

Everyone has a chance to make an impact.
Management seeks feedback.
If you want to be in eCommerce, this is the place.

Cons

There isn't much of a downside. The company needs to manage it's customers, not the other way around.

Stay focused on the path.

    Pros

    Very fun culture and a very young company. A really great college recruit program

    Cons

    Managers lack experience on managing people. Promotions are done twice a year and are not directly tied to your work or your salary. You don't get an increase until your annual review. Very political company and you have to make sure all the VPs not only know you but like you in order to be promoted.

    Advice to Management

    More feedback and more one on one time with direct reports.Don't wait until there is a problem to engage.

    Pros

    Large company with growth. Excellent benefits, nice people, pleasurable work atmosphere. Employees appear to respect one another. Most of management seemed pretty cool.

    Cons

    Imagine your employment being terminated with just the answer "it didn't work out". Even when sincerely questioned as to why the termination the manager lacked on communication skills and repeated with a snarl "it just didn't work out". . A better form of communication with a slight explanation would perhaps help someone learn from their mistakes had they made any. The funny thing about it was two weeks prior other more professional PFSweb management expressed the importance of leadership towards my growth w/the company . Guess the rules of respect didn't apply to one manager - Who displayed no respect or leadership or guidance. After being professionally Interviewed & recommended by one Senior Recruiter & two department VP's , this one manager knew more than everyone else....... and It Just Didn't Work Out. Now that's an answer from a leader!
    Truly no disgruntlement here..a spade is a spade.

    Advice to Management

    When an NEW employee ask the simple question why they are being terminated, don't hide behind the fact that PFSweb is a right to fire company and doesn't have to give an answer. That only portrays the act of a coward not a leader.
