I have been working at PIMCO Europe

Pros – The company has a great reputation in the market and I work with some of the smartest people I have ever worked with. Not only that but compared to an investment bank the people are also really nice! It is a great place to work with a strong corporate culture. The firm is very client orientated and prides itself on its level of service

Cons – The portfolio managers are very focussed on the running of portfolios and so can be difficult to tie down to meetings! You also need to be wary of cultural differences in terms of the European vs American work habits.

Advice to Senior Management – Keep doing what PIMCO does well - focussing on the customer
