Pros

if you are new to the workforce, if you have no other options, if you live in Pittsburgh, PNC might be the right choice. Anyone who has options, should consider another organization. PNC is looking for the best, but they are not the best organization. They are growing, but they can't handle the growth.

Cons

Its like working at HFC or Radio Shack, sell financial services like you're selling ipods. The organization has no respect for the employee, it is basically a sweat shop that sells the flavor (product) of the month. There is no consideration of the client.

Advice to Senior Management

Quit, take leadership training at reputable business schools. Pitttsburgh employees should not be resentful because the company is acquiring banks in other geographic areas, being rude to the new employees in these areas is so divisive and contributes to the terrible disjointed atmosphere. PNC is too big for its own good.
