I worked at PNC Financial Services Group as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

Amigable co workers, short learning curve, good compensation, internship program was very structured with many networking opportunities with management and fellow interns

Cons

Downplay of risk creates somewhat boring work environment, internship experience depends entirely on the department in which you are placed, this department may or may not be your preference

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow interns to have a greater degree of choice to which department they can apply

I worked at PNC Financial Services Group full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

They have 401k matching, pension, and 2 weeeks vacation starting out.

    Cons

The bureacracy has become unbearable over the past few years as the bank has grown to one of the largest in the nation. Too much office politics and managers don't care about you as a person, just an employee. They want you to put work before everything else in your life. They say they care, but they really don't.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop being such "company heads" and start using your own heads.
