Pros

its a job if you either dont have a degree or have a degree and kind of just waiting for something better for now its okay, coworkers are nice , pay is okay

Cons

pay okay but not live- able. dont expect a raise unless your in sales , managers are horrendously mean and treat people very badly not only in my area but my coworkers have mentioned the same , moving up is hard to do even with a degree and experience, close to say it is a "just a number " kinda place. life balance is not there . benefits are poor at best

Advice to ManagementAdvice

need more structure and training for management maybe even a mentoring program .

Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

Former Employee - Financial Sales Consultant in Chicago, IL

    Pros

Lots to do, great banking experience if you are looking to succeed in the retail banking industry.

    Cons

They do not pay a livable wage for living in Chicago, and expect you to meet suburban style goals, in a city setting. Management is inflexible for new ideas and innovation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay people more in salary's, and you will lower your turnover rate. Get some realistic data in regards to the majority of people that live in the city, not the suburban white 500k+ people that commute into the city.
