I have been working at POPSUGAR full-time

Pros

MBP and iPhone when you arrive..occasional happy hour invitations and company-wide events (i.e.movie screenings, boot camp, fitness events, launch parties). Company offers
good health benefit packages.

Cons

-Unprofessional senior management..I feel like I'm back in high school.
-Lack of communication
-Chaotic
-Very high turn-over rate
-Long hours

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen and pay attention to your staff. Treat your staff with respect!

    I have been working at POPSUGAR full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Yummy, healthy snacks.
    Great location.
    Work with wonderful brands.

    Cons

    No transparency.
    Unclear strategy; no top down communication until last minute.
    No chance of promotion unless you suck up.
    Hard work does not pay off - big reason why people leave.
    Turnover means more work for everyone else - hard to retain good workers.
    Inefficient cross communication.
    Lack of mentorship - managers too busy with their own agendas.
    Pay sucks.

    Get your heads of the sand and listen to your employees. Reward those that work hard.

    I worked at POPSUGAR full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    I don't see any pros....maybe the location/size of the office.

    Cons

    My time at popsugar UK was not the best. First off, I was underpaid. I was working 45 hours per week for a meager salary that barely covered my expenses.
    The daily tasks I was assigned were not consistent with my experience and the reasons I was hired in the first place.
    The management seems clueless with people who don't have a culture in fashion and Customer experience in that field.
    A lot needs to be done in regards of internal communications. The managers are not very professional or honest in their approach of employee's issues.
    Having interns doing full-time jobs (usually the interns are over age 24) and taking advantage of the 3months probationary period is the norm.
    In the way they handle the business, I'll only say, lying to clients is not an uncommon thing...

    The ambiance in the UK office is not good. It is a shame because the company has a lot of potential.
