Pros

great work, interesting, good location..ok benefits..some good upper management

Cons

too much politics, you can be doing a great job but if someone doesnt like you watch out!! Promises of raises never came through. watch your back & document everything you do. Management only supports those they want to support.

Advice to Management

You might retain more employees if you treated them fairly & paid them appropriately.

    Pros

    Fairly good systems, although there are probably too many for most folks.

    Cons

    I don't really recognize PRA anymore. It now more closely resembles PPD from 10 years ago than ever and NOT in a good way. There are way too many silos, favoritism and disrepect runs rampant and in general it is a very sad place to work. Every decision comes down to pleasing the board (aka cutting costs) and those changes have resulted in a significant decline in quality. Merit increases and bonuses are few and far between and NOT AT ALL based on merit but on who you know.
     Manager's bonus this year was cut for the majority of staff. Senior management chose to ignore mentioning it all together and offered no explanation. Instead they thought it was more appropriate to send an email out to the entire company around the same time asking everyone to pat them on the back for promoting themselves to 'Executive' VPs.

    Advice to Management

    The same employees you disrepect today will be working at potential clients tomorrow. I certainly would think twice about hiring PRA based on the quality of work I've seen here.

    I get 6 weeks of PTO.

    Cons

    Do not retain employees or do anything to retain employees.

    Advice to Management

    Need to increase the salaries at PRA to be reflective of industry standards.
