Pros

Ok place to work - flexible

Cons

very disorganized when it comes to training

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management not friendly as a whole. Visits office and doesn't even greet people when they walk by. Definitely need a better approach to training new employees

I worked at PRA full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

PRA has an excellent homegrown eTMF system. The system was very user-friendly and easily utilized as a review tool for comparison against the investigator's site file. Compensation and benefits are similar to other CROs. They were willing to provide opportunity for me to again therapeutic experience though my background was primarily in normal healthy volunteers. They also offered a mutli-day training to introduce new CRAs to their electronic systems, which was very helpful.

    Cons

The line managers I worked under were not very helpful when I requested assistance achieve balance my workload and did not provide much support in challenging situations. That with the combination of a poorly managed high profile study ultimately lead to my departure from the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should recognize that the experience the CRA has with their line manager makes or breaks their experience with the company and focus on promoting quality line management and support.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
