I worked at PSAV part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Networking, good hourly pay, opportunity for some advancement, good experience for those looking to get into live events.

    Cons

Not actually part time, no guaranteed hours. You are really being screened to get you into a system that lets the different hotel directors 'crew up' for the various productions. You'll pretty much be applying for a job over and over again. This is not explained during the initial interview process.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more up front about what the part timers are facing.

    Pros

Great opportunities to learn new skills,

    Cons

For a sales position the pay is low, unless you're willing to move to a new location there's no chance at advancement

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Create opportunities for advancement
