Pros

Plenty of opportunities to grow technical and customer service skills.

Gear is not state of the art and sometimes leaning towards obsolete.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upgrade gear and allow home property techs to work on high profile shows.

I have been working at PSAV full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Free food, get to work with gear, lots of hours

    Cons

Long days, if you want to move up you need to wait a long time because the company is so large and too many techs, not enough positions. It's all about the money, no incentives for techs to make sales. Most hotels have enough equipment to barely get by and if it is broken they wait until it is totally destroyed before even thinking about getting new gear.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Care for employees more, give employees an incentive for sales so they would be more willing to make sales while on the floor.
