I have been working at PSC Biotech full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The people that the firm hires are nice and supportive. All of the staff knows of the negatives so be sure to connect with someone and ask about their experience. This is a must if any of your job duties fall under the supervision of the CEO/management team.

    Cons

    Everything else, including:

    - Pay (under the industry average)
    - Politics
    - Unethical behavior (a lot of black, versus white company practice)
    - Brand (this is not a premier brand so work at one if you can)
    - Turnover rate (ask about how many HR manager there have been in the past two years)
    - Favoritism (if you are a "golden child", live it up because it will fade and you WILL be cast aside)
    - There is no annual increase (you have to ask)
    - No formal review process. Be sure to include one in your contract. Be sure to stipulate your exact role responsibilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get someone to act as CEO. This individual should adhere to corporate policies and lead by example. The current CEO is great at sales and that is what he should do.

I worked at PSC Biotech full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Depending on the group you work for, it could be a great or bad experience, Pomona's group is a good one, I heard Austin and New Brunswick are very good also.

    Cons

Low pay, the bonuses (when they come) are at the owner's discretion. No teamwork, only a few managers understand that word. Too much drama and gossip.

We are an employee-owned company managed by a management team. Profit sharing is discretionary and are calculated based on the performance of the company. It is not an arbitrary decision.
