Pros

The Union IBEW. Chance to make a descent living. Great benefits.

Cons

Not enough time off, no pension, most supervisors forget where they came from. Work is dangerouse.

Advice to Management

Find a way to bridge the gap between 1st level supervisors and Union personell. There is definetly a line drawn in the sand. Its like a slave, master mentality. It should be like a Coach, player mentality.

    Pros

Great work life balance with a very friendly atmosphere. Overall a great place to work.

    Cons

Very limited Growth opportunities. It is very slow in advancement of its leadership.

    Advice to Management

I think that management is doing a good job with the organization, however defining a clear career path seems to be the place where there can be some improvement.

    Pros

Ability to do more than is expected of you
If you come up with an idea, you can implement it
    Very high integrity of CEO

    Cons

Cost cutting efforts are making it difficult to get some projects off the ground
Morale has been affected by cutbacks

    Advice to Management

rethink the bell shaped employee performance curve that has 60-70% in the Fully meets category. It is demoralizing to put so much into a job and then be told you're doing just what's expected of you.
