Pros

Stable industry where everyone needs power. Company has a long impressive history.

Cons

current downsizing and cutbacks make the environment much less attractive than working for a competitor. Employees are a bit jaded due to this.

Advice to Management

coffee? Really? Took away the coffee to help the bottom line. Bottom line will suck when productivity decreases.

    Pros

The Union IBEW. Chance to make a descent living. Great benefits.

    Cons

Not enough time off, no pension, most supervisors forget where they came from. Work is dangerouse.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to bridge the gap between 1st level supervisors and Union personell. There is definetly a line drawn in the sand. Its like a slave, master mentality. It should be like a Coach, player mentality.
