One Bad Manager Can Destroy a Group...

Current Employee - Human Resources in San Francisco, CA

    Pros

Up and down about being micromanaged and being left to do the work. It was a high performing group that didn't need a nervous micromanager.... Some people really try hard.

    Cons

Left retirement behind because of poor, unqualified over-management. Others left and are considering leaving. If you are looking here for a job, try to go in with as much background as you can get. Beware of reorganization. which means lay-offs. A lot of career employees are burned out and working for retirement, which means a lot of work-place conflict. Not a happy place to be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The middle Managers are making poor, knee-jerk decisions because of stress from Director-level management. You need some sort of business coach and an intervention.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
