Pros

Pacific is a mom and pop company graduating to corperate. The leads will fight for you and your job whenever you need it. They also allow you to vent, They are very personable and really good with giving recognition when needed. The importance of the job is awesome. The director of Operations started as a part time customer service agent. They pay is OK and the oppourtunity for advancement is there.

Cons

There is some super shady upper management. This is the first call center some of the upper managment has ever worked in. The center could be run way more efficiently, but due to egos, it will not. They run people ragged with overtime because they refuse to staff correctly. Borderline harass employees for Overtime...

Advice to Management

Learn how to do your job more efficiently. You are not maximizing profits they way you could be. Understand that your employees (especially since it is a small(ish) call center, are your bread and butter. Also, When your upper managment staff POINT BLANK lie, and you are aware of it. Take care of it immediately, upon hiring you all express that this is an "at will" employment. Handle your business like you run a corperation, not like its a back yard operation.

    Pros

Schedule flexibility, as a contractor you are your own boss, you work when you wnat, though they call you sometimes in the middle of your free time to ask you to log in because they cannot ahndle their call volume, go and figure who is going to say "no" to more money?

    Cons

There is no career development, a lot of talk, they say the do train you, but they can't it would be illegal if they did. There is a lot of politics in this place, it is a good gig for the time being. No cost to the interpreter but no gain either...

    Advice to Management

MAke interpreteers employees they you can train us, then you can BS everybody out there.

    Pros

Helping people who need medical care and don't speak English.

    Cons

Don't bother getting sick and thinking you'll still have a job. Not even a few days with the flu. You won't get any raises even with good performance. Family dies? Prepare to be harassed. Prepare to be harassed daily to work overtime, and prepare to be bullied too. The pay is very little.

    Advice to Management

    Become human.
