A good job when the economy was bad, it was stable, & as soon as the market picked up it was great to get out of there.

ProsPaycheck
For those in the union, good for them, it’s the only protection they have – the company is not looking out for them.

ConsThe executive team was too focused on themselves and preached caring for employees when their actions did not demonstrate care.
There is no work life balance, unless you are in a union position.
Promotions take place by favoritism.
HR is a joke, they are constantly replacing, it should send some message.
Managers bully their teams and employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementIt’s the old, “walk the talk”, that’s all that can be said. You do a good job telling employees what they want to hear and not fulfilling on it, if it wasn’t for the union, you’d run people into the ground and do more bullying than what is already taking place. For the sake of your employees, treat them better, they are scared of you which is why they don’t tell the truth on all the surveys you send to them, they think they’ll be identified.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Pros: Some of the people are really great. Cons: Leadership is inconsistent, disingenuous, and destructive. Advice to Senior Management: Change leadership - all of the exec team. Take a closer look at the financials and you'll understand just how much impropriety is occurring.… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
