Pros

Great leadership - the managers and supervisors are very helpful. It's a good place to learn about non-profit organizations and staying involved with the community. They are also flexible with scheduling.

Cons

It can get really busy, and the internal system is very slow. It'd make a huge difference to check in guests faster.

Advice to Management

If possible, update the internal system. It'll make it easier to process and check in guests. Guests get very upset when they are waiting in line thanks to the slow system. Post more signs in line that show movie times and exhibit times.

    Pros

Dedicated co-workers, get to work at a Seattle institution, free passes to imax movies and travelling exhibits. Medical/dental/vision benefits are very generous; time off seems pretty good.

    Cons

Very high turnover, expectation to volunteer to work evening and weekend special events, seems like salaries have stagnated. Not much interaction between departments, unfortunately.
