Corporate is out of touch with it's people. The brands sell themselves, luckily.

I have been working at Pacific Sunwear full-time

Pros

Annual sample sale. Exposure to artistic designs and concepts.

Cons

Micromanagement, Favortism, Unequality, Benefits changed for the worse. It's more about who you know within the company rather than actual performance. Human Resources does not handle situations correctly.

    Pros

Discount was cool. Workers were chill. Not a bad place as a first job.

    Cons

Manager was too bossy. Gotta chill with the whole "do this, do that."

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Pacific Sunwear part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy environment, simple tasks, costumers are teenage and only expect help if they are confused, 50% off of clothes for employees,

    Cons

Unorganized bonus schedule, below living wage for key holder positions, long hours for floor sets that are not included in schedule, 2-3 shifts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you're going to incorporate a bonus system, base it on percentage of sales by that employee, not amount of money. Smaller volume stores have no chance in winning the bonus because they have a lower costumer amount in general.
