Great pay and nice community.

Quit wishing for the good old days today.

    Pros

Benefits, view from my desk, some co-workers. (I don't even have 20 words of praise to write) Get the online version of the paper for free, received an I-Pod shuffle for Christmas! Just received a 2% raise after being here for almost 3 years!

    Cons

Where do I start? People are promoted not because they're qualified, but whether or not they are in the right 'clique'. Middle & upper management have NO clue what's going on in the trenches (we grunts pay their fat salaries) Micro-managers create a HORRIBLE work environment-Upper management is always singing the blues (financially) yet they find the $$ to upgrade software & phone systems that cost millions of dollars when the old systems worked just fine.

    Advice to Management

Promotions & new hires need to be the most qualified person for the job-not someone's relative, friend, based on how someone looks or what they do outside of work. Many talented people have been laid off, fired or replaced with incompetents. Some middle managers have NO clue what they're doing, nor are they qualified to lead. Management needs to make a path for current employees to advance if they so desire.

  2. I spent three years there and for the most part would recommend it.

    Pros

    Nice office space. Decent pay.

    Cons

Cliques among employees. Layoffs are always in the back of your mind.

    Advice to Management

A performance review should not be the first time an employee hears about issues.
