Pros

Very good working Culture, flexible timings, a very good chance to learn things and highly competent salary

Cons

Can get hectic at times, need to adopt to new changes which are coming up

    I worked at Panasonic Avionics Corporation as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

    * Co-workers are nice and hospitable. They are helpful and will to share their experiences with similar task.

    Cons

    * More interested in cranking out product than innovating.
    * Don't appreciate employees talents and hard work. While the company was making record profits and growing exponentially, it treated employees like deadbeats. Many people were forced to take leave for stress while I was there.
    * Extremely restrictive environment. At least 50% of the day is spent doing administrative paperwork, matrices, and meetings to ensure you abide by the company's guidelines.
    * Upper management does not trust middle management to do its job. Upper management frequently overrode instructions laid out by immediate supervisors. This practice is very disruptive. It creates confusion. It is very difficult for an employee to feel confident in moving forward full steam ahead if he feels instructions will change.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    People would be happy to work hard to meet the goals of the company if they feel valued and appreciated. Employees naturally want to see the company do well because it is in their best interest for that to be the case. However, you got to have a balanced approach to managing personnel. If you are going to come down on people about mistakes, you have to praise individuals for a job well done too. Also, a little incentive goes a long way. It is not mandatory to give salaried employees gifts for exceptional work, but it definitely helps in lifting morale after a stressful quarter.
