I have been working at Panera Bread full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The money can be great, depending on tips. You aren't required to work many weekends, which is uncommon in the food service industry. You gain a lot of great experience which you will be able to take to another job.

    Cons

You may often work very long hours. There are no bonuses for hitting sales goals, so there is little motivation to hit your goals. There is typically only one caterer in each store, so there is a lot of pressure to get everything done. You may often be extremely overwhelmed with orders, and other times when there is not much to do. You spend a lot of time driving and doing deliveries.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your caterer has all the support they need.

  2. Fun Co-Workers But Overworked & Underpaid

I have been working at Panera Bread part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Co-Workers - Non Greasy Foods - Variety Of Foods To Enjoy - Nice "1st" Job

    Cons

    - Underpaid Because Manager Rake In All The Money - Your Clothes Get Filled With The Smell Of All The Food There - Lazy Managers Who Only Help When You're Overburdened - Expect You To Be A Machine Rather Than A Rational Human

    Advice to Management

Do Your Best To Make Your Team Really Feel Like You Care. Incentives. Prizes. Acknowledgement. STOP CHANGING SO FREQUENTLY!!!
