Pros

Fun atmosphere, I truly liked all my coworkers and managers. Great food discount!

Cons

Dress code was kind of stuffy and outdated. Polos and kakis and mandatory baseball hats. Pay could be better but wasn't the worst.

    Pros

    Job is ok and the people are great.

    Cons

    Have a non realistic look at how to run a business and goald that are not achievable.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your managers on the ground level.

    Pros

    Food is tasty, healthy options are available, but do not believe hype found in advertisements. All food is NOT organic as many believe. Discount is poor considering effort required and the fact that the healthcare option is very overpriced. Company does not pay well enough for most employees to take advantage of other benefits (you need every penny to pay for HEAT and FOOD.)

    Cons

    Management is full of themselves--they don't listen to employees and think all employees are inept so they run around nitpicking the associates while pretending to have "soooo much paperwork to do." At that point they hide in the office, eat and check their phones. Paperwork seems to take priority over customers for them and is also another reason to erroneously yell at associates for their own shortcomings as a management team.

    Advice to Management

    Stop being so quick to blame associates for your own inability to keep store adequately staffed, learn to listen to associates and please realize many customers are just looking to get something for nothing--stop letting these people walk all over you so you can throw the associates under the bus. Management team has become ineffective, cold and greedy. Blue Ridge Bread franchise is placing profits over customer satisfaction. This is a problem.
