I have been working at Panera Bread part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I love working at Panera Bread. It's really a family atmosphere. The key is that anyone who just wants to skirt by and not go above and beyond will not enjoy this job and they will not get hours. But if you are willing to work hard and put all of your effort into your job, the management is amazing, they really work with your schedule, and overall it's a really great company to work for.

    Cons

You do have to actually work hard, and it is hard work, you're under time pressure and you have to make sure you make the food right. You smell like sweaty Panera after work, and you should never make plans until at least an hour after when you're scheduled to get off, because 9 out of 10 times you'll be there at least half an hour past when you were supposed to leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep being really awesome.

I worked at Panera Bread part-time

    Pros

Work schedule was flexible and the job was easy to do.

    Cons

Expected the best out of the workers but hired the least qualified and laziest workers. Would not acknowledge good work but would definitely let you know when you were doing something they didn't like.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward good workers and fire the ones that are slacking off. Use better judgement when hiring new employees. Hiring worthless employees only makes the good employees pick up the others slack.
