I have been working at Panera Bread full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Solid company in unsure economic times. Joint Venture Program is nice system. Challenging Operations running multiple business disciplines under one roof. Training programs are good and allow an associate to learn what they don't know and move up the ranks within a cafe.

    Cons

Joint Venture Program isn't stepped to promote retention.
Never seems to be a bench of managers to draw upon
Labor models are unrealistic for the expectations of service times

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Move scheduling into the 21st century with Hot Schedules.
