I have been working at Panera Bread full-time

    Pros

Forming relationships with your coworkers is a continued positive. The No Jerks policy has held true, in my opinion. Management cares about your development and personal growth and is always available to help and listen.

    Cons

The schedule can be challenging with the wide range of business hours. Shifts can begin as early as Five AM and go as late as midnight. Scheduling requirements for "quality of life" require managers to work these various shifts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please consider paid maternity leave. Food service management is physically taxing and difficult enough on pregnant women.

I worked at Panera Bread full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Panera Bread was a great place to make new connections and also the food was good, so I never got tired of eating the food

    Cons

The company allows pretty free reign to their district managers. Which is ok if you have a great district manager, unfortunately they are severely lacking in those

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep better track of how your dms' treat the gms. Panera Bread lately seems to have become a lot more bottom line driven than customer service driven. Why should anyone come to P Bread when they can get their lunch in about the same time in full service and get better service.
