Pros

Working as a delivery driver isn't the easiest job, at least you get free food sometimes.

Cons

Drivers are required to do in store work and are usually not compensated for that.

Advice to Management

Watch who you hire, make sure the team works as a whole, make sure everyone fits in and nobody feels left out. Upgrade your software and hardware because they are ancient and obsolete.

    Pros

Occasional free food. This is the only benefit of this job.

    Cons

High stress (depending on location). Hours are usually late night, so good luck going out on weekends. Since these are mostly franchised locations, your pay is set by the the owner, and will likely stay at minimum wage. I was a Shift Lead and made less than drivers on some days....

    Advice to Management

Strongly advise franchise owners to consider their pay scale.

    Pros

As a driver, the scheduling is flexible and tips make budgeting much easier and account for up to two-thirds of the pay on a fairly regular basis. Obtaining a job is easy for anybody with a running vehicle and at least relatively clean driver history check

    Cons

Low barriers to job entry means it's not uncommon to spend a few months to a year reluctantly working with an abrasive co-worker. The Tallahassee franchise in particular makes drivers stay clocked in as drivers while cleaning the store to skirt minimum wage laws, management positions begin with pay less than a dollar above minimum wage and the most dedicated employees typically only receive a raise of an extra 25 cents an hour after some fairly extensive pleading

    Advice to Management

Due to inflation devaluing money and lessons learned from experience making an employee more efficient, an employee that receives the same pay rate year after year is ultimately doing more work for less pay and (s)he will have no motivation to try harder than (s)he did yesterday. In short, once you run out of carrots, you may as well throw away the sticks.
