Pros

people and management are great and freindly

Cons

they pay you 7.25 while in the store and only 4.55 when out on delivery- as I see it they are getting away with not paying minimum wage-- and with large delivery areas - you might driverround trip 10 miles or more -- and half the time no tip - or small one- thinking this is not worth it.

Advice to Management

pay should be 7.25 in or out of the store- we are putting our lives and cars on the line each time we leave the store.

    Pros

    Good first job
Can make some decent time if you know the area well
You are "compensated" for each delivery.

    Cons

You leave when they say it's okay to, expect to work more than you'll earn.
The "compensation" consists of a dollar, nowhere near enough for gas.
This will leave your car a wreck in the long run.

    Advice to Management

I know many delivery drivers are lazy, and I can see why you need those deliveries done. But some flexibility must be given to our schedules.

    Pros

Management is very considerate towards the time needs of its student employees. I have never been forced to work when I needed time off to study, work on projects, or attend seminars and job fairs to further my education or seek out a professional career.

    Cons

In order to maximize your earnings at PJ's, either managing or delivering, you must committ to working early into the morning. This is just the nature of working in the pizza business. Besides dinner rush, most business comes late at night after traditional dine-in restaurants have already closed.

    Advice to Management

I have meet with Mr. Schnatter and find him to be a remarkable leader. As for store level managers, always be sure to work along side new employees so they do not feel over burdened during busy times and stressed under the pressure to get pizzas out the door within CSC times.
