Approves of CEO

Pros

It has a better atmosphere and environment than all other business in the industry. Management are usually very cool to their employees and have a good down-to-earth attitude as opposed to other similar business where managers seem to dislike what they're doing. Also, they always come up with ways to improve employee productivity.

Cons

It is my impression that sales aren't as high as for other similar businesses so it may be more difficult to put in more hours. Also, usually the delivery is a bit slow.

Advice to Management

They should not hire someone just because they know them. Also, an on-site manager or responsible person to file complaints or for more important on site emergencies should be present. Otherwise complaints have to be directed to a district manager or Papa John's Corporate.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

It can be a good income per hour.

    Cons

Leaders don't spend the time training team members. Then hold those team members accountable when the situation fails. Drugs. The use of drugs in store and by employees is ridiculous. Nothing is done about it, it's simply ignored. And because it is ignored it attracted individuals who use and sell drugs. Leader have no goals or if they do it's not communicated to those below them. Clicks are formed and if you not in the right click you can be singled out, mistreated. Violations and even criminal offenses are over looked. If you do work at Pj's I'd recommend just short stay and then get out.

    Advice to Management

Training of the managers to communicate, to be fair, balanced and above all to respect employees.

    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Flexible hours, easy day to day job, friendly staff and supervisors, plenty of opportunity for advancement if you have the ambition to push for it, great benefits if you go salary management

    Cons

The smell of pizza on everything, long hours, not the best pay for the crap you deal with from tricky customers

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff's needs/wants and address them appopriately; don't be afraid to counsel or fire people for not doing their job correctly
