I have been working at Paralyzed Veterans of America

Pros

Working with the veterans is an amazing experience. There are opportunities to meet and work with individuals who have shaped the nations view of people with disabilities. The benefits offered are very good and the salary is competitive.

Cons

Lack of leadership and poor ethical and moral values of senior staff creates a negative work environment. There is an environment of fear and threats of termination are frequent and felt throughout the organization. Senior Leadership allows highlevel directors to go unchecked despite obvious signs of poor and unethical work values. Unfortunately this has gone on for years unchecked and is a well known fact in the organization.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's time to evaluate your senior leadership staff as the mission of the organization is suffering at the hands of a few individuals. Additionally, there needs to be a checks and balances system in place to prevent thissituation and to ensure that the donor dollar is used correctly and not wasted by poor leaders who create high staff turn-over.
