Pros

Most positions are day shift positions, company sponsored training (technical and safety), very clean facility, teaches a culture in employee empowerment,

Cons

No wage increase from temp to full time transition. Employee empowerment is taught, but not valued or enforced by management, unless personally approved by the manager, employees are used by HR to build documentation against personnel they would like terminated (sometimes without knowing they are being used for that purpose). Culture and empowerment going backwards rather forward. Tries to operate with fewer employees than needed. Has gone through multiple managers in various positions in past ten years. No structured compensation - wages given at managers discretion.

Advice to Management

Value different management styles, investigate HR practices (at this location), develop better job descriptions and consistent compensation rates within those descriptions.

    Pros

Solid business model and history of earnings and growth.

    Cons

The company professes employee empowerment, but micromanages at the Corporate and Group level.

    Advice to Management

Evaluate top leadership to determine if there could be a culture of empowerment.

    Pros

Some of the people are great, lots of employee perks, able to apply to jobs within the company

    Cons

HR could be nicer, don't need to be good at your job to keep your job, too much drama and politics and favortism. Pay is not comparable to other companies. Benefits get more costly every year, but maybe it's like that everywhere.... Point system for clocking in and out is unforgiving.

    Advice to Management

Become more aware of what's really going on at the shopfloor level because the story you're being fed is not the reality. I know for a fact.
