    Pros

    They have Great products, offer good pay, and have decent hours. I worked for a franchise and not the corporate store so my experience will be different

    Cons

    Poor communication, lack of over all business direction. They changed their idea of doing things very often and this would often be the direct opposite of what was being doing prior.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Coach and train employees. Don't continue the methods of leaving it alone and thinking the situations will get better. New people only fix issues for short period of time before things get bad again.

    I have been working at Party City part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Nothing you do on a day to day basis is difficult.

    Cons

    1.) The pay is total crap for the amount of work they make you do.
    2.) HR department doesn't care if you have a problem.
    3.) Opportunities to advance in this company, simply don't exist.
    4.) NO background checks done when hiring.

    Basically they just suck a person dry for all the talent they have for as little as they want to pay them.i suppose if you get a job with these guys as an EAM, or GM the pay makes it worth your time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1.) Start paying the people who do all your work more
    2.) Background checks. A simple google search of a person will let you know if they're lying on their application
    3.) Treat ALL your employees respectfully and as if you appreciate them, rather than blatantly displaying the fact you don't.
