    I worked at Patterson Dental

    Pros

Good money, unlimited potential, good benefits, local co-workers are great to work with. Company is very well respected within the dental community.

    Cons

Get everything in writing, they do not stick to their promises. Superiors don't know what the heck is going on at the local level. It's the good-ole boy network, if you are in, you're in. Branch managers don't stay around long, here one day and gone the next.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have more knowledge as to what is going on outside of the Branch office. Think of your employees as a person and not a number. Praise your workers more and reward them for their work.

I worked at Patterson Dental full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Even though it is a large company, each branch is a small entity. It feels like a family due to spending more time with co-workers than at home. Great benefits.

    Cons

Sometimes office politics and personalities are a problem, but that is true of any workplace. People can be both enjoyable and difficult.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to be consistent in the rules and need for everyone to obey them. Some people were not made to comply, which left others to suffer.

    No opinion of CEO
