Pros

Positive culture, nice perks, almost no emphasis on billable hours, decent training (some departments better than others), good exit opportunities.

Cons

Hours can be long (though where are they not?), lack of transparency/honesty from firm leadership.

    Pros

Great starting salary for someone who has just graduated from college. Great company for those thinking about "big law" life in the future. Prestige and perks are not to be ignored.

    Cons

You may get to work on "neat" cases, but you're at court with other firms' messengers. It's difficult to get respect- both within the firm and out in the field. Many of the attorneys who work within the firm are miseable. If you decide that law school is not for you (which a high percentage of paralegals & law clerks do), you've 'pigeonholed' yourself and breaking into a new career is difficult.

    Advice to Management

Clear-cut career options for entry-level employees. Invest in these lower-level positions.

    Cons

Offer more technology training for better support of the environment.
